I need an Android-only camera application that automatically embeds the current GPS coordinates into every shot—whether I’m taking a high-resolution photo or recording a full-HD (or better) video. In addition to the geo-tag, the app must add a watermark that can combine custom text with my logo on the final media file. I should be able to adjust basic settings (watermark position, size, opacity) quickly before capture, but the location capture itself must be hands-free and precise.
Core deliverables
• APK (and source) that opens directly to the camera preview.
• Instant capture of latitude, longitude, and optionally timestamp, stored in EXIF for photos and in metadata for videos.
• Real-time overlay rendering so I can confirm the watermark and location before pressing the shutter or record button.
• Output files saved in the highest quality the device hardware allows, with no visible compression artifacts.
• Simple settings panel for toggling watermark elements (text, logo) and switching between photo and video modes.
Acceptance will be based on installing the APK on multiple Android versions (11–14), confirming GPS accuracy within 10 m, and verifying that the watermark appears correctly on the exported media without affecting image quality.
