Automated Tableau Sales & Expense Dashboards

I need automated dashboards built in Tableau that pull our sales and expense data directly from our existing spreadsheets and accounting system. The key focus is a clear, interactive view of sales by region alongside salaries & wages so management can spot trends quickly without manual reporting.

Source files arrive weekly, so the solution must refresh on a schedule with zero manual intervention. If you can streamline the data prep inside Tableau Prep or a similar ETL step, even better. While the initial scope covers sales-by-region and salary costs, I’m open to expanding to other metrics (total revenue, marketing spend, etc.) once the core framework is stable.

Acceptance criteria
• One Tableau workbook containing:
 - Sales dashboard showing regional breakdowns, drill-through to individual territories, and YoY comparison
 - Expense dashboard focused on salaries & wages with month-to-date and forecast views
• Automated data refresh (live connection or nightly extract) and documented setup steps
• Clean, intuitive layout that works on desktop and mobile Tableau views
• Handover of the .twb/.twbx file plus any Prep flows, with brief video or written walkthrough of key calculations and filters
