We are building a business automation system for an autobody and spares shop based in Pretoria, South Africa. The system consists of three connected components and we need one developer who can own all three.

SCOPE OF WORK
1. WhatsApp Private Chatbot
— Integrate with 360dialog (WhatsApp Business API)
— Build a conversational intake flow: captures customer name, vehicle make/model/year, part needed, damage description, and photo
— Real-time inventory lookup (reads from Supabase database)
— Replies "out of stock" automatically if part is unavailable
— Directs customers to Shopify product URL for checkout
— Escalates to human agent when bot cannot resolve
— After-hours handling and fallback messages
2. Inventory Middleware Service
— Node.js polling service that syncs Posibolt POS API → Supabase every 5 minutes
— Handles Posibolt auth token refresh and API rate limits
— Writes clean inventory records (SKU, stock qty, price, location) to Supabase
— Error handling so a Posibolt outage does not crash the chatbot
— Deploy to Railway.app
3. Operator Dashboard (Next.js)
— Inventory table: live view, editable stock quantities, add/remove parts
— WhatsApp panel: view active DM conversations, flag escalations
— "Post deal" button: sends a formatted message to WhatsApp group via API
— Shopify order feed via webhook
— Hosted on Vercel

REQUIREMENTS
— Strong Node.js (Express or Fastify)
— Next.js for the dashboard
— Supabase (PostgreSQL + real-time)
— REST API integration experience (bonus: Posibolt or similar POS systems)
— WhatsApp Business API experience (360dialog or Twilio preferred)
— You must have built and deployed a chatbot or messaging automation before — please include examples in your proposal
— South Africa-based preferred (same timezone, familiarity with local stack)

— Timeline: 3-4 weeks
— Milestones: chatbot live (week 3), middleware stable (week 4), dashboard complete (week 6)
— All code must be documented and handed over in a private GitHub repo

— Basic on-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, image alt tags)
2. Shopify Store (Basic or Grow plan)
— Premium theme setup and customisation to match brand
— PayFast payment gateway integration (South Africa)
— Product catalogue setup — client will provide product data
— Collections by vehicle make / part type
— Shipping rules: local pickup + courier options
— Order confirmation emails branded to client
— Shopify webhook setup (sends order events to our backend)
— Basic abandoned cart recovery enabled
