I’m opening an online perfume boutique and want the entire experience to feel refined, luxurious and unmistakably elegant. I already have a Shopify account, but I need a developer-designer who is comfortable diving deep into theme code—HTML, CSS and JavaScript—to craft a distinctive look that stands apart from off-the-shelf templates.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• Visual identity: rich, high-end aesthetics, generous white space, subtle animations and typography that evokes exclusivity.
• Theme customisation: create or heavily modify a theme so the homepage, collection pages and product pages all follow the same luxury tone. That includes bespoke sections, custom banners, interactive scent-finder or quiz (if feasible) and refined hover effects.
• Functionality: seamless checkout, mobile-first responsiveness, quick-view, advanced filtering and SEO-friendly markup. I also need integrations for email capture, reviews and social sharing.
• Performance: clean, lightweight code, image optimisation and lazy-loading so the store feels snappy.
• Handoff: clear instructions or a short Loom walkthrough so I can update products and content myself.
