We are seeking an experienced Magento 2 developer to build a new eCommerce website from the ground up, incorporating security, marketplace, and UX features. The project involves migrating existing data from our current website, implementing a multi-vendor marketplace, and delivering a fully responsive, SEO-ready storefront.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
REQ-01 – Two-step customer login verification
Implement two-factor authentication (2FA) requiring users to enter their password and an SMS verification code before accessing their account.
REQ-02 – Age verification / age-gating system
Add an age verification popup for the Specific product category. Users must confirm their age before accessing age-restricted content or products.
REQ-03 – Payment gateway integration (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe)
Integrate Stripe across both the product and checkout pages. Also enable PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay to provide a seamless, secure checkout experience and reduce cart abandonment.
REQ-04 – Wholesale portal
Build a dedicated B2B wholesale portal supporting wholesale pricing tiers, bulk ordering, and account management functionality for business customers.
REQ-05 – Security enhancements
Audit the existing website's security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and implement best-practice protections throughout the new platform.
REQ-06 – Data migration
Migrate all existing data from the current website to the new Magento 2 platform, ensuring full data integrity and continuity of operations.
REQ-07 – Online marketplace conversion
Transform the Magento 2 store into a full multi-vendor marketplace. Sellers must be able to manage inventory, shipments, seller profile pages, and seller collection pages.
REQ-08 – AI category mapping
Integrate Webkul AI Category Prediction to automate product categorisation using machine learning, reducing manual effort and improving category accuracy.
REQ-09 – Front-end UI redesign (all pages)
Redesign the front-end across all website pages. Interfaces must adapt seamlessly to all screen sizes and devices. Consistent layouts, fonts, colours, and typography must be maintained site-wide.
REQ-10 – Mobile compatibility
Ensure the completed website is fully optimised and compatible for mobile devices across all pages and features.
REQ-11 – Product and customer data migration (post-build)
Upon completion of the new website, migrate all products and customer data from the old site to the newly created Magento 2 store.
REQ-12 – SEO, Google Analytics & sitemap
Configure all SEO settings, integrate Google Analytics, and generate a sitemap upon website completion.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOUR PROPOSAL
Please include: your experience with LATEST Magento 2 development, examples of relevant past projects (multi-vendor marketplaces, eCommerce builds), your approach to each requirement above, your estimated timeline, and a breakdown of your proposed cost. Developers with prior experience using Webkul extensions and Stripe integration on Magento 2 are strongly preferred.
