Project overview
I need a freelancer to review online media galleries from motorsport events and download all images that feature specific drivers and their cars.
Each event contains hundreds of photos. The task is to identify relevant images based on driver, car number and visual cues (livery, partial views, driver shots), then save them in an organised, accessible format.
Scope of work
For each event:
Review full media gallery (typically hundreds of images)
Identify images that include:
specified drivers
their cars (full or partial view)
identifiable features (car number, livery, helmet, driver)
Download all relevant images
Organise files into structured folders (e.g. by event)
Upload to a shared location (e.g. Google Drive or Dropbox)
Inputs provided
List of drivers
Car numbers
Reference images and/or description of car liveries for the season
Links to media galleries
Folder structure requirements
Output requirements
Complete set of relevant images per event
Clear folder structure (agreed upfront)
No duplicates
High accuracy in identification (including partial or less obvious images)
Success criteria
All images featuring the specified drivers and cars are captured
Minimal missed images
Files are correctly organised and easy to navigate
Skills required
High attention to detail
Ability to visually identify objects from partial information
Experience with image sorting, tagging or data entry
Reliable internet connection (for large downloads/uploads)
Volume and timing
Multiple events
Each event: estimate about 100 images
Turnaround: 24 hours per event
