Project brief
프로젝트 내용
We are looking for an experienced WordPress and WooCommerce specialist to set up a product configuration and quote request system for our company website using WooCommerce together with YITH plugins. We sell industrial machines and equipment, and we do not want a standard e-commerce purchase flow. Instead, we need a structured product configurator where customers can select a machine model and choose optional accessories, then submit a quote request without seeing any prices.
Our stack is already defined: WooCommerce is installed and we want to use YITH Request a Quote and YITH Product Add-Ons & Extra Options or whatever you want to use . The work is not about building a custom PHP system from scratch, but about correctly configuring these plugins, structuring the product data properly, and delivering a clean, scalable configuration model that we can reuse across many products in our catalog.
Each product must allow the customer to select a specific model and then select optional accessories and extra features. Each optional must support its own image and selectable control (such as checkbox or similar), so the interface is visual and easy to understand. Prices must exist in the backend for internal calculation, but they must be completely hidden from the customer on the frontend. The customer should only see the model selector, the optional accessories with images, and a quote request button. When the request is submitted, our team must receive a complete structured email with the selected model and all selected options including internal prices, while the customer receives only a confirmation message without any pricing information.
We need the system to be configured in a way that is maintainable by our internal staff after delivery. That means after the initial setup, we must be able to add new models, new optional accessories, images, and prices directly from the WordPress admin without needing a developer each time. A big part of this job is designing the right backend structure and field logic so the workflow remains simple and repeatable for many products.
Before we approve the full project, we require a full working implementation on one real product as a validation phase. This is not a fake demo but the real final structure applied to a single product first, so our company can visually and functionally verify that the configurator and quote flow match our expectations. After this validation is approved, we will proceed with the full rollout and payment for the complete work.
We will provide full access to a staging environment and all required product data, models, option lists, images, and pricing inputs. We are looking for someone who has real experience with WooCommerce product configuration and YITH plugins and who can recommend the best practical structure for this type of industrial product quote workflow. Clear communication and clean setup are very important for us, and if the first phase goes well we are open to a longer collaboration.
